Matthew Williams leaves Givenchy

Creative director Matthew Williams leaves Givenchy.

Williams will present his final collection for the Pre-Fall 2024 fashion house for men and women, which belongs to the French luxury goods group LVMH, reports the trade magazine WWD. He and Givenchy will then go their separate ways at the beginning of next year.

The founder of the 1017 brand Alyx 9SM joined the French fashion house in June 2020, succeeding Clare Waight Keller, who, like the American, left Givenchy after about three years.
