This evening, Tuesday 31 December at 8.30pm at unified networks there will be the traditional End of Year Message from the President of the Republic. It’s about the Sergio Mattarella’s tenth end-of-year speech.
The message should last no more than 15 minutes and will begin at 8.30 pm. According to the predictions on the eve, Sergio Mattarella should not deviate from the style he has held in recent years, with a clear and dry speech.
Many are waiting for words to remember the story of the journalist Cecilia Sala, currently detained in Iran. The theme of peace will certainly be at the center of the speech with special attention to the situation in Ukraine. There will probably be a reference to the importance of democracy and participation. There are many current issues that could be touched upon by President’s speech. There will certainly be references to safety, to deaths at work, but it should also talk about precarious employment, the scourge of feminicides and the difficulties of young people. There will also be words of hope for the future and there will probably be a reference to the Jubilee just started.
