Just four months after the announcement of Marino Edelmann’s farewell, Strellson announced its successor.

Mats Birk takes over the position of the Managing Brand Director at the Swiss Menswear provider with immediate effect, announced the brand belonging to the Holy Fashion Group on Wednesday.

In May, it was confirmed that Edelmann, who had been working as a Managing Brand Director since September 2019, will not extend his contract and will leave the company at the end of the year.

With the appointment of Birk, Strellson is now focusing on “continuity, expertise and innovative strength in brand development,” said the message. The new Managing Brand Director is no stranger for the company: he already gained initial experience with the brand during his business studies. After entering the Holy Fashion Group, he took over various positions in retail management.

Most recently, he was responsible for the stores of all group brands, including Strellson, Joop! and windsor. In this function he drove the expansion forward, opened new locations and continuously developed existing store concepts.

“Mats Birk is the ideal occupation with his passion for menswear, his deep understanding of the Strellson brand and his extensive experience in the international retail,” said Marcel Braun, CEO of the Holy Fashion Group. “He knows the brand like only a few from the customer: inner view.”
