In fact, on Sunday, May 18, Mathieu van der Poel would also participate in a mountain bike competition in Heubach, Germany, but he doesn’t appear at the start. From 23 to 25 May in the Czech Republic.
World championship
Mathieu van der Poel skips the World Cup cycling on the road in Rwanda in September. The 30-year-old rider from Hoogerheide shifts his focus after the Tour de France on the World Cup Mountainbike in September.
The rider thinks he doesn’t have a chance to win a new rainbow jersey on the road because the course in Rwanda is not losing him. He does not yet have a world title at mountain biking and he would like to add it to his honors list.
