Mathieu Terryn single-handedly founded Croquestar, a tribute to croque monsieurs. For Civic Duty, he teamed up with Bockie de Repper. It turns out that a collaboration that leaves you wanting more. The Bazart frontman and the ‘Smartest person in the world’ alumnus Bockie de Repper are organizing their own food festival this summer on the Eilandje in Antwerp.

With the DRIP Festival, the two join forces to pay tribute to citizen culture. “Almost immediately, there were 7,000 citizen enthusiasts who wanted to follow our adventures on Instagram,” says Mathieu Terryn. “That’s not nothing. And so we want to celebrate that love. Civil duty deserves its own holiday. And that will be DRIP Festival.”

From 3 June to 5 June, a dozen top Belgian chefs will present their own interpretation on the Eilandje in Antwerp. Places for the food festival are limited. You can now book a ticket via the website dripfest.be
