Tore Sercu, the 27-year-old son of Mathias Sercu, died on January 22 in the presence of his family. Since 2021, he has been battling an exceptionally rare and aggressive form of cancer, plasmablastic myeloma, a variant of Kahler’s disease. Healing never turned out to be possible.
