Iolanda was challenged by her entire team. The discontent continued even between female competitors: Vittoria, Carlotta and Georgina they noticed that the winners of the challenges are always male. Gender disparity? Simply, the men cooked better while some competitors just wasted their time getting themselves there war. The chef Chiara Pavan explained the news of the Green Mystery Boxcreated to spread the philosophy of sustainability, with the introduction of GreenPin. An award for those who created a gourmet recipe, using scraps of non-native foods and ingredients. Matteo L. was awarded the green medal. Alessandro, however, got the classic Golden from the Mystery Box. In the‘Invention Test, the protagonist was the salad but with a gourmet touch. Antonino Cannavacciuolo explained to the class his liquid salad.
A recipe born in the early 2000s for his English customerswho always asked for a salad to open the meal. Surprisingly, Jonny won the test and became the brigade leader in the first external of this edition. The Masterclass went to Rivalta – Lesignano de’ Bagni, in the province of Parma. Even though the red team was the favorite on paper thatthe blue team, captained by a tired Iolanda, triumphed 40 to 10. Al Pressure Testthe main ingredient was cheese. Eros and Piponzio are the first eliminated this new year.

Teo (score 7), Alessandro (score 7)
The two most feared competitors of the Masterclass are always in the front row for the compliments of the jury. Teo chose wild boar as the main ingredient of the Green Mystery, combining it with all the scraps available. He dedicated it to Grandma Egidia. Finished at Pressure Test with a dish called “I’ve got plenty of gnocchi”, he joyfully reached the balcony of salvation.
Chiara Pavan was impressed by the perfect cooking of the meat. His talent was hindered by Alessandro himself, which forced him to cook two versions of the same dish all‘Invention Test. The Genoese doctor chose to cook Boccalone, a non-native fish with a perfect name for a dentist like him: «My ideal patient». He earned it Golden Pin of the classic Mystery Box.
MasterChef 15: Matteo L. (score 8), Carlotta (score 5/6)
The shy and silent one Matteo continues to reap awards and successes. He also chose to cook Boccalone for the Green Mystery Box and yes brought home the Green Pin. Put into difficulty by Alessandro, who forced him to cook two types of liquid salad of chef Cannavacciuolo, he still managed to get away with it. After silently gnawing at the victories of the male competitors, Carlotta got busy and cooked a liquid salad perfect. It’s a shame that he created disharmony in the team with Iolanda, who he didn’t spare any criticism.

Like other colleagues, this evening Franco seemed out of phase: his was a test without infamy and without praise. A purple liquid salad for Irenewhich convinced the jury. It stood out (positively) on the outsidecooking Bolognese cutlets very well and saving himself at Pressure Test. Vittoria made some mistakes but recovered on the outside thanks to its fantastic passatelli in broth. For this reason, the judges rewarded her, sending her to the balcony. Even though their team lost, Jonny made an excellent choice with the two of them.

Dounia played for the Golden Pin for fear of having made a mistake on the dishInvention Test. She was saved from the merciless judgment of the jury, which found that her salad was anything but appetizing. Matteo, the friendly know-it-all of this edition he chose to combine the stracchino with the liquid salad, making Locatelli happy.

Gaetano the globetrotting architect brought scents and ideas from distant Doha. He combined escarole, burrata and coconut milk and presented a very satisfying dish to Cannavacciuolo. Jonny won theInvention Test and became brigade leader in the first external of the edition. His red team was made up of Vittoria, Gaetano, Matteo L., Piponzio, Teo, Alessandro, Irene. THEThe competitor then chose, in an almost diabolical way, the brigade leader of the blue team, Iolanda.

Iolanda’s arch-enemy did not miss an opportunity to argue with the juryeven in front of a well-made dish. His antagonism was also evident externally with Iolanda, his brigade leader. In the long run, this behavior tires. For her, young people are always arrogant: “if I remember me at 20 I was a cagacaxxo”. We take her word for it.
Piponzio, more agitated than usual, he dared to dip some fresh fruit into the liquid Cannavacciuolo salad and hit the mark. Too bad that al Pressure Test he made such a mistake in making the stuffed gnocchi that he was eliminated.

Niccolò (score 6/7), Georgina (score 6/7)
Niccolò made everyone laugh by naming his dish The tuna peed since he used dandelion, a well-known diuretic herb, in the recipe. Despite the somewhat confusing name, it was a success. For Barbers, Georgina’s liquid salad was a real surprise but she has not yet managed to fully demonstrate her abilities. Or, at least, the ones he says he has. During the team work, outside, he had a moment of great nervousness towards Iolanda.
