The piece is a social-artistic co-production of vzw Cultuurkapel De Shadow and the Spil. “You will be short of eyes. Depending on where you are, you see a different performance,” says director Silke Thorrez.
‘The entry’ is loosely based on ‘the entry of Christ in Brussels’ by James Ensor and brings a story about living together in a divided society. “There are no main roles. Everyone shines in his moment,” says director Tom Ternest.
After the premiere for 500 spectators, eleven performances on the old VDL site will follow in October.
