Schaefer designed six looks for the runway show and opening ceremony, which were made from Madmi silk and sent to her and the other designers from Thailand. These will be presented to international guests on December 8 – including shoe designer Jimmy Choo. Two outfits per country will then be integrated into the 12th Celebration of Silk Road to the World traveling exhibition, which will be on display at multiple locations in Asia.
