Despite the fact that she had little time to play in the last two seasons due to injuries, Ajax has extended the contract with Marthe Munsterman by one year.
The 29-year-old midfielder came from Everton to Ajax in 2018 after an unsuccessful adventure in England. Last season, the daughter of former FC Twente chairman Joop Munsterman only came on as a substitute four times. She is fit again after a long time after a head injury.
Munsterman: “I am happy to play football at Ajax longer. After a difficult period I am fit again and I am looking forward to starting my fifth season today.”
