Mart Hoogkamer causes quite a bit of irritation at Angela de Jong with his own TV program Mart op de Piste. According to the feared AD diva, it is really a waste of tax money.

The Mart op de Miste program is not only a huge flop in terms of viewing figures, but it is also very limited in terms of content. Every episode the viewer gets to see how Mart and his friends – think of Wesley Sneijder and the children of René Froger – are drinking on the après-ski. Really doesn’t matter.

SBS television

It bothers Angela de Jong immensely that the NPO just funnels tax money here. ‘How dare the NPO send a bunch of spoiled singers from our tax money on holiday?’, is her headline. AD column.

According to Angela, this is more SBS television, but it is actually broadcast on NPO 3. “But no, as crazy as it sounds, it’s really true.”

‘How is this possible?’

Angela points out that the classic Radar has to hand in quite a few episodes and that Het Dorp has been deleted. “But the public broadcaster does think it is a good idea to send a couple of spoiled singers (…) and a retired footballer who has to pay his alimony from something from all of our tax money, for a week on a skiing holiday.”

And all this in the battle for the young viewer, who is not interested in this show at all. “I hope that those at the NPO who thought this was a good idea, is now ashamed of themselves.”
