In a video shared on Dumpert, the singer can be seen performing the song I am going to swim sings. After beers are thrown to the stage, the singer says: “Don’t, don’t do it, don’t do it, otherwise I’ll get rid of it.” A few seconds later Hoogkamer says “Later guys, later” and leaves the stage.

In his Insta Stories, he says how he already got six beers after ‘sixteen seconds’. A video shows how he drives to another party in the car and cynically says: “Great, those festivals.” To add a moment later: “Outrageous.” He then shares a video showing how he is carried over rain puddles to the tent during his next performance at the Vinkefest. “That’s another way of doing it.”

Hoogkamer is not the first artist to leave the stage for this reason. Lil Kleine also decided earlier, during a performance in Hengevelde, to leave the stage shortly after the start because of beers that were thrown at him from the audience.
