There was constant misery behind the scenes at Gerard Joling and Gordon: arguments, arguments and more arguments. Will their successors Mart Hoogkamer and André Hazes Jr. fall into the same trap? The recordings of their new SBS 6 show Tot Uw Dienst are in full swing and although the gentlemen are laughing a lot, things don’t always go smoothly backstage.
Crazy about that guy
Mart says that he had his first beef with André. “We completed the first shooting days last week. On day two we had a little discussion about something and I thought: that guy is driving me crazy, and he also had the same thing the other way around,” he says in front of the camera. Show news.
“So it was just one time in our friendship that we thought: now that guy needs to get away from me because he’s driving me crazy! And he had that with me too. But most of all laughed and just enjoyed and wanted to help everyone.”
Have fun together
Apart from that argument, things are actually going quite well, says Mart. “We are mainly ourselves. The main thing is that we want to prank other people in a fun way. We are there for the people and we are there for the people, but you can really see that we are just having too much fun or something. You just forget about those cameras.”
Private boss Evert Santegoeds hopes that this argument will remain the same. He says at the desk: “I think it will be something. And keep it nice guys, because we’ve had enough whining about the other two. That is really an example of what not to do behind the scenes.”
