In recent months, Hoogkamer regularly suffered from beer throwers during his performances. First he got off the stage during the Whitsun parties in Beckum, last month he had enough in Drouwenermond at the Boerenrock Festival. During the Total Loss Festival, the audience again threw beer, but this time Hoogkamer remained standing and the singer even had an inventive solution.
While singing he saw the beer coming and with one hand he caught the beer. This to the great enthusiasm of the public at the Brabant festival. ,,Now I’ve got it, haven’t I”, Hoogkamer shouted and then took a sip from the cup. Then he continues to sing imperturbably. “Shall we just have a party then?”
