Marly van der Velden is at peace with it if the rumors are true and Goede Tijden Bad Tijden does indeed disappear from the air. “We have been at Videoland for a long time and things are going very well there.”
The rumor that Goede Tijden Slechte Tijden will disappear from the air and move exclusively to Videoland is becoming increasingly persistent. The gossip was spread to the world by Albert Verlinde. Where? At RTL Tonight, on GTST channel RTL 4. What makes it believable is that Albert is good friends with the boss of that station.
‘Really a shame’
Peter van der Vorst, the boss in question, has not denied the gossip either. It seems that GTST is currently running its last season on RTL 4 and that after the summer fans can only go to Videoland. The reason for that TV exit? The linear figures are disappointing and the summer replacement has been scoring much higher viewing figures for years.
What would GTST actress Marly van der Velden think if this rumor is true? “I would really think it would be a shame, because it has been on regular television for 35 years,” she says initially Weekend.
Well considered
Yet Marly would be at peace with it. “On the other hand, we have also been at Videoland for a long time and things are going very well there. I assume that it is a well-considered decision, so I just have to trust that it is the right one. But we will see about that.”
The actress wants to continue participating no matter what. “I really love my character. And I get to act every day, which is my passion. And yes, where else can you find that? I also love the diversity and that the story continues, which is very nice. The same goes for the group of people I work with, I really like my colleagues. Well, everything actually.”
