“Marktrock was our summer camp with dad every year”: Kat Kerkhofs brings back the festival in Leuven as a tribute to her father

This is what Kat Kerkhofs (36) tells us, who organizes the festival as a tribute to her deceased father — one of the founders. “As a child, our summer camp was Marktrock. Very rock ‘n’ roll. Now that I am a mother myself, I often think: how much would Ciro enjoy that? That realization made it such a shame that Marktrock is no longer there.”
