Market values Southwest region: Polster, Huseinbasic & Michel use the league as a springboard

Appreciation before transfer

Talents who were able to successfully use the 2021/22 season as a springboard secured the highest increases in the market value update in the Regionalliga Südwest. The biggest plus, at 100,000 euros, goes to Manuel Polster (19) from VfB Stuttgart II, who could be recommended for a summer transfer to Austria Vienna with his performance – the left winger increases to 250,000 euros.

Denis Huseinbasic (20) is upgraded by 75,000 to 250,000 euros. The midfielder, who is under contract with Kickers Offenbach until June 30, will play for 1. FC Köln next season. He leaves Offenbach after four years in which he made 62 appearances for the first team and 23 for the U19s.

The most valuable player in the southwest region remains Carlo Sickinger with 300,000 euros, but only until June 30th. A day later, the season change takes place at Transfermarkt and the defensive midfielder says goodbye to SV Elversberg in the 3rd division. Sickinger moved from SV Sandhausen to SVE on loan in February and played his part in the rise as a regular.

There he will meet Falko Michel (21), who is also saying goodbye to VfB II and is moving to Borussia Dortmund II in the 3rd division. The defensive specialist from the youth of SC Freiburg climbs from 200,000 to 250,000 euros. From July 1st, winger Ben Bobzien (19, FSV Mainz II) and midfielder Aljaz Casar (21, Hoffenheim II) will share the title of the most valuable player in the southern region with a market value of 250,000 euros.
