Interim update Prva Liga
In the interim update in the Slovenian Prva League, the two biggest winners come from the ranks of record champions NK Maribor. The talented Behar Feta (20) and Marcel Lorber (19) each receive starting market values of 200,000 euros. A total of 49 players will be reassessed, of which only Ben Cottrell (21) from NS Mura will receive a minus. After his move from Arsenal’s U21 FC in the summer, the Englishman’s price fell by 25,000 euros to 175,000 euros.
Marcel Ratnik (19) and Timi Max Elsnik (25) from double winner NK Olimpija Ljubljana remain at the top of the market value ranking with an unchanged market value of 1.3 million euros. Behind them are their teammates Matevz Vidovsek (23; average value: 1.2 million euros) and Nemanja Motika (20; average value: one million euros). The ex-Bayern youngster moved to Olimpija Ljubljana from Serbia from Red Star Belgrade on a free transfer in the summer and has since played six games in which he scored two goals.
This is how transfer market market values work
The transfer market market values are created taking into account various pricing models as well as a strong involvement of the transfer market community, which deals with the values in detailed discussions. The transfer market market values cannot generally be equated with the transfer fees actually paid.
The goal is not to predict a price, but rather an expected value. When determining the market value, both individual transfer modalities and situational conditions are relevant to a certain extent. Examples of this are listed here. Transfermarkt does not use an algorithm (for detailed market value definition).
