Market values RL Bayern: SpVgg Unterhaching to Krattenmacher on the upswing

14 upgrades for climbers

After promotion to the 3rd league, 14 players from SpVgg Unterhaching will receive a plus in the market value update of the Bavarian regional league. While most of them are only going up slightly, as many regulars are over 30, the situation is different for top talent Maurice Krattenmacher. The 17-year-old midfielder has been injured since the beginning of the year, but he is still the focus.

“Recently there have been reports of interest from Benfica Lisbon. It is therefore easy to imagine that, after Karim Adeyemi and Nico Mantl, Krattenmacher will become the next Unterhachinger talent to change for a large fee,” says market value admin Johannes Netzer (“Jojo1860”). Because of this market signal, Krattenmacher’s appraisal increases by EUR 300,000 to EUR 900,000.

Patrick Hobsch (28) is also upgraded. The top scorer, who secured the title with 27 goals for the second time in a row and thus played a key role in Unterhaching’s rise, has recently been associated more often with clubs from the 3rd division. “With the promotion, however, it is likely that he will continue to hunt for goals at SpVgg in the 3rd division,” Netzer believes. After an increase of 25,000 euros, Hobsch’s market value has now broken the 200,000 euro mark for the first time.

The biggest winner in the league is Grant-Leon Ranos (19), who is moving from Bayern Munich II to Borussia Mönchengladbach. For the attacker, it’s up from 675,000 to one million euros – an increase of over 200 percent. At the age of 19, the Bayern talent can already call himself a national team player. In his three appearances for Armenia he scored four goals, in the past regional league season there were 20. He also convinced Gladbach with his nose for goals. “It will be interesting to see whether he will be used directly in the Bundesliga or whether he will make a name for himself through the second team. Upgrading it to one million euros may only be a small intermediate step,” says Netzer.

This is how the Transfermarkt market values work

The Transfermarkt market values are created taking into account various pricing models and a strong involvement of the Transfermarkt community, which deals with the values in detailed discussions. The transfer market market values are not to be equated with the transfer fees actually paid.

The goal is not to predict a price, but an expected value. When determining the market value, both individual transfer modalities and situational framework conditions are relevant to a certain extent. Examples of this are listed here. Transfermarkt does not use an algorithm (for detailed market value definition).
