Market values regional leagues: Herthas Jindaoui makes a leap – HSVs Oliveira moves to the top

Updates in the north and northeast

Nader Jindaoui (27) recently made headlines with his professional debut at Hertha BSC and will be rewarded for his boost in performance as part of the market value update in the Northeast Regional League. The right winger goes up by 75,000 euros to 250,000 euros, making him the biggest winner behind his teammate on the “Old Lady’s” second team, Tim Hoffmann (18), who receives a starting value of 150,000 euros.

Jindaoui moved from the regional league team Berliner AK 07 to the Berlin U23 in the summer of 2022 as an experienced leader and has played 34 games there to date, in which he scored eight goals and six assists. On the 15th matchday of this second division season he was promoted to the professionals, making his debut in the DFB Cup against HSV. A short time later he made his debut in the 2nd Bundesliga against VfL Osnabrück.

The most valuable player in the league also comes from the ranks of Hertha BSC: Derry Scherhants (21) increased from 100,000 euros to 800,000 euros as part of the second division update on December 15th.

Market values Regionalliga North: HSV’s Oliveira stands out

In the Regionalliga Nord, Nicolas Oliveira (19) from Hamburger SV stands out, but his rating was also raised in the middle of the month. The right-back also played for the professionals for the first time this season; in the regional league, the youngster played nine games in which he was directly involved in four goals. As a result, it goes up by 125,000 euros to 300,000 euros. This makes him, together with the two Hanoverians Monju Momuluh (21) and Yannik Lührs (20), the most valuable player in the league.

This is how transfer market market values work

The transfer market market values are created taking into account various pricing models as well as a strong involvement of the transfer market community, which deals with the values in detailed discussions. The transfer market market values cannot generally be equated with the transfer fees actually paid.

The goal is not to predict a price, but rather an expected value. When determining the market value, both individual transfer modalities and situational conditions are relevant to a certain extent. Examples of this are listed here. Transfermarkt does not use an algorithm (for detailed market value definition).
