Complete update

After the end of the season, Transfermarkt updated the market values of the Regionalliga Nord. The team with the biggest increase is unsurprisingly third division promoted VfB Oldenburg, whose squad value has increased by almost 500,000 euros to around 2.1 million euros.

The biggest market value winner for the champions of the Regionalliga Nord is top scorer Ayodele Adetula, who jumps by 75,000 to 200,000 euros. The 24-year-old has ten goals and 15 assists in 27 regular-season and league games.

BSV Rehden’s Kamer Krasniqi, who is moving to Oldenburg in the summer and may become Adetula’s teammate if he extends his contract with the newly promoted third division, also scored 25. The market value of the 26-year-old increases by 50,000 to 175,000 euros. The biggest winner in the entire league is St. Pauli’s Niklas Jessen (18), who signed his first professional contract in February. The midfielder increases by 100,000 to 250,000 euros.

With VfB Oldenburg, Hamburger SV II, VfB Lübeck and BSV Rehden, four clubs have seen an upgrade in terms of squad values. While Holstein Kiel II remains unchanged, the other clubs post a minus. Until the update, the most valuable player in the league was ex-professional Philipp Bargfrede (33) from Werder Bremen’s reserve, who, however, lost 50,000 to 200,000 euros and thus lost his top position. These are now shared by Jessen and Mick Gudra (21) and Moussa Doumbouya (24) from Hannover 96 II with a market value of 250,000 euros.

This is how the Transfermarkt market values work

The Transfermarkt market values are created taking into account various pricing models and a strong involvement of the Transfermarkt community, which deals with the values in detailed discussions. The transfer market market values are not to be equated with the transfer fees actually paid.

The goal is not to predict a price, but an expected value. When determining the market value, both individual transfer modalities and situational framework conditions are relevant to a certain extent. Examples of this are listed here. Transfermarkt does not use an algorithm (for detailed market value definition).
