Transfer market has updated the market values of 436 players of the Belgian Jupilers Pro League. From then on, Ardon Jashari is at the top of the ranking. The 22 -year -old midfielder from Club Brugge was able to increase its market value by 7 million out of 25 million to 32 million euros – a player was never so highly valued in the Oberhaus in Belgium.

“Interest in Jashari actually explains its market value,” explains Bart Tamsyn, Area Manager Belgium in the transfer market. The expert explains: “Both PSG and Manchester City have it on their list. PSG sports director Luis Campos even hit him personally. It is rare for teams of this caliber to be interested in players from Belgium. However, Bruges and Jashari are not ready to separate, so it would need an offer of at least 40 million euros to remove it.” A transfer fee of this amount would be a new record for the Belgian league, which is currently held by Igor Thiago. The Brazilian switched from Bruges to Brentford in 2024 for 33 million euros. “Therefore, it seems logical that we have given Jashari a record market value,” sums up Tamsyn.

Jashari is not the only young player from the Jupil Pro League, who was targeted by several Premier League clubs. Numerous English clubs observe the Greek striker of Constantino’s karetsas from the Krc Genk intensively, which raises its market value by EUR 7 million to 20 million euros. “Karetsas is the new gold boy of the Belgian league, although he is only 17 years old,” explains Tamsyn. “He made a name for himself internationally when he was in the starting eleven for the Greek national team against Scotland. Despite reports on interest from the Premier League and offers of up to 45 million euros, Karetsas will probably remain at Genk next season. But not unlikely that Genk sells the player and borrowed directly again.”

Jupiler Pro League: promising David among Union winners

The new master Union St. Gilloise is the club with most market value winners in its ranks: eleven. “Union’s success is primarily thanks to the team as a whole,” attested Tamsyn. “Therefore, it is not too surprising. However, we currently do not see a Champions League participant from one of the five big leagues that Union players wants to waste.” One of the market value winners at the master is the promising striker of the Canadian national team promise David. The offensive power scored 25 goals in 41 games and gave five templates, its market value rose by 83.3 percent from 6 million to 11 million euros. He is the most third -value Canadian behind Alphonso Davies and Jonathan David.

Like many of his teammates, David will be the focus of other clubs this summer. “The club, which is currently the most associated with it, has the Paris FC, which has just climbed into Ligue 1. The Union players have to decide this summer whether they play in the Champions League or switch to a larger league-but maybe without European football,” says Tamsyn, who adds: ” League can convince, we expect market values of 20 million euros and more at the next update. ”

This is how the transfer market market values work

The transfer market market values are taken into account, taking into account various pricing models and a strong inclusion of the transfer market community, which deals with the values in detailed discussions. The transfer market values are not to be equated with the transfer sums actually paid.

The goal is not to predict a price, but an expectation value. When collecting the market value, both individual transfer modalities and situational framework conditions are relevant to a certain extent. Examples are listed here. Transfer market does not use algorithm (for detailed market value definition).
