In 1994, as captain of the New York Rangers, led the championship Mark Messier has noticed a strong spring playing Kaapo Kakon performances.
Messier, who is now NHN expert on ESPN, praised Kako for the strong grips he has shown, especially in the first two games of the conference final against Tampa Bay.
