Star Wars -movies actor Mark Hamill, known as the character of Luke Skywalker, published a picture created by artificial intelligence on social media, which made the White House furious.
In the picture, US President Donald Trump is lying by his own tombstone with his eyes closed, surrounded by daisies. The years 1946-2024 were visible on the tombstone.
In connection with the picture published on the messaging service Bluesky, he wrote that Trump should live long enough to see his inevitable crushing defeat in the mid-term elections and to be held accountable for his unprecedented corruption. In addition, he hoped that the president would be convicted and humiliated for his countless crimes.

The publication did not go unnoticed by the White House. Its Rapid Response account on X responded promptly:
– Mark Hamill is a really sick individual. These lunatics of the radical left just can’t help themselves. This kind of rhetoric is exactly what has inspired three assassination attempts against our president in two years.

Hamill has since removed the post and apologized for it, albeit in a slightly sarcastic tone on Bluesky. He published an “edited version” of his text on his social media account:

Mark Hamill isn’t the only public figure to anger the White House.
Comedian Jimmy Kimmel also came under criticism from the White House at the end of April when he joked about the age difference between Trump and his wife Melania Trump. Kimmel described Melania as “glowing like a waiting widow”.
Three days later, a shooting incident occurred at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington. After the event, Melania criticized the comedian and said he was spreading hate. The president also took part in the debate by calling for Kimmel’s firing.
