News anchor and writer Matti Röng is warm memories of Sunday’s retired colleague Marjukka from Havumäki. Rönkä himself retired from YLE’s TV news in February 2024.
Havumäki was already working on YLE’s TV news editorial, when Rönkä started his job as a news manager in 1990.
– Many thousand broadcasts would have been made together, Rönkä says.
– Really warm thoughts, of course. Marjukka is a close and good co -worker, and such a credit player has always been. Marjukka has always been trusted.
Havumäki’s Finnish language also receives praise from Röngä. He does not spare over words of his former colleague when he speaks.
– Marjukka is not only a charming lady, but also extremely calm and pressure resistant. Marjukka does not worry under any circumstances.
The story goes on after the picture.

Retirement coffee
Rönkä has not yet contacted his ex-co-worker, but plans to go to the coffee event organized by him.
By chance, the anchor rings recently met on the train. They hugged, and Havumäki whispered to Röngä for a day that leaves off the Finnish Broadcasting Company, Rönkä says.
– It was agreed to see yes.
Rönkä does not start advising a fresh pensioner about how to be.
– I know Marjuka’s sociality, the scope of networks, cultural hobbies and others, so I’m not going to advise at all. I trust that Marjukka will flourish as a pensioner.
What about other greetings?
– Well no, then I say between the two when I see.
