Marit Kamps (24) from Assen has lost the battle for the bronze at the European Judo European Championship in Montenegro.
In the decisive party in the open class above 78 kilograms, the Italian Aysa Tavano was too strong for the Drenthe Judoka.
The past period was excellent for the Judoka in Drenthe. In February she grabbed bronze on the Grand Slam van Baku and in March she repeated that piece of art in Tbilisi. Two years ago, Kamps already grabbed bronze at the European Championship.
Tomorrow Kamps will still be in action at the country competition
