AVROTROS cannot make any statements about the nature of the threat. The Oerol festival itself does not provide any explanation either.
Koopmans himself seemed to indicate on Twitter on Monday that he was displeased with the decision. “That you have been invited to Oerol and that it will be canceled after consultation with the police. Scientist 2.0!” she writes. Behind it she places four icons of an angry face that swears. Koopmans could not yet be reached for further explanation.
