Soccer player representing the Swiss premier league team FC Sion Mario Balotelli, 32, has once again lived up to his reputation. The latest trick of the Italian, who has dazzled with his tricks throughout his stage-rich career, did not particularly please the supporters of Basel, and especially the Swiss Football Association.
Balotelli, who was scoreless in the weekend’s match against the big Swiss club, got frustrated with the referee’s decision not to give a free kick and showed the middle finger to the Basel fans who threw receipts.
Balotelli was later banned for one match by the Football Association for his behavior.
The disrespectful act did not go unnoticed by the Swiss. From the CEO of Sion From Christian Constantin was asked to comment on Balotelli’s behavior. The leader, who remains on the side of his team, believed that his striker received inappropriate shouts from the Basel fans.

Balotelli hopes he won’t be the only one punished.
