That’s how long Marina (67) from Herzele has to wait until the health care budget of her severely disabled son Rik is increased. “At the OZC Sint-Vincentius in Viane, Rik can receive the care he needs and the living conditions are tailored to his needs. Unfortunately, his budget does not allow that for the time being. What should happen next? We only know that mom can no longer handle caring for Rik,” Rik’s sisters and brother are sounding the alarm.
