Marina Hoermanseder develops brand for QVC

The Austrian fashion designer Marina Hoermanseder is now also designing for the teleshopping provider QVC. The company announced on Tuesday that the first collection of the “Iconic by Marina Hoermanseder” brand will be available exclusively on the QVC channels from February next year. The label’s range includes “variably combinable, colorful pieces such as jackets, blouses, sweatshirts and trousers” as well as shoes and bags, according to a statement.

Hoermanseder explained the background of the partnership: “The great appreciation that QVC has for my work convinced me, and I’m really excited about the reactions of the customers,” she said in a statement. “I’ve always been in close contact with my fans, but live shopping is a whole new experience.”

Timo Gerlach, Vice President Merchandise at QVC, commented on the collaboration from the point of view of the video commerce specialist: “I am very pleased that our fashion portfolio is continuing to grow,” he explained. “With her fashion, Marina Hoermanseder appeals to all fashionistas who are looking for special and high-quality styles at QVC.”
