Finnish fashion brand Marimekko is launching a platform for the brand’s second-hand and vintage pieces. The platform will be called Marimekko Pre-loved and will launch on August 25, according to the brand’s website.
In the first phase, the marketplace will only be available in its home country of Finland, but the brand plans to expand it to other markets in the near future. “It’s time to pass on the joy and give your Marimekko items a second life. And it’s time to discover exciting designs from an ever-growing selection of used Marimekko treasures.”
Established in 1951, Marimekko is known for its bold and colorful prints. The company has over 150 stores worldwide and operates online in 35 countries.
