The reasons: lack of evidence and limitation period.
Marilyn Manson probably has nothing to fear for the time being. On Friday (January 24th), Nathan Hochman, the district prosecutor of Los Angeles County, said, according to Associated Press that the rock star is not being charged after years of investigations.
“We have found that the allegations of domestic violence are outside the limitation period and that we cannot demonstrate the allegations due to sexual attacks,” said Hochman. The fact that this does not have to mean that the allegations against Marilyn Manson are not true shows in the words he added: “We recognize the courage and resilience of women who have reported to file a complaint and their experiences to share. And we thank you for your cooperation and patience in the investigation. ”

The investigation had started in 2021. The allegations of abuse go back to 2009 to 2021. Esmé Bianco (who played the prostitute Ros in “Game of Thrones”) stated that it was part of the criminal investigation. Otherwise, none of the allegedly affected women were publicly identified by the public prosecutor. Bianco also displayed Marilyn Manson separately. This lawsuit was dropped after an extrajudicial agreement.
In October 2024, Bianco accused the then district lawyer of Los Angeles, George Gascon, inactivity in the Manson case. At a press conference, she explained: “Almost four years ago, I did what sacrifices of rapes should do: I went to the police. I have told you in tormenting details how the rock musician Brian Warner – better known as his stage name Marilyn Manson – has raped and abused me in the course of our relationship. ”And:“ Despite a thorough examination and hundreds of evidence that was presented to the public prosecutor I still wait for justice. In the meantime, I have received death threats, while the one who misused me continues to appear publicly. ”Esmé Bianco has not yet commented on the new developments.
