Marijke Groenewoud has won the 1500 meters from the World Cup skating in Tomaszów Mazowiecki, Poland. She finished after 1.56.67 and was almost a second faster than the Japanese favorite Miho Takagi (1.57.50). The Chinese May Han (1.57.56) finished third.
