“I’m pregnant!” screamed the presenter. “It goes well. I’m so glad I was able to tell you now. I’ve been on the road for quite a while and in all honesty, you’re starting to see it quite a bit,” said Elsinga. “It’s nice to be able to tell it, but at the same time it was nice to keep it to ourselves.” Elsinga thinks it is “a miracle” that a baby is growing in her belly. “On the one hand I can’t wait for it to arrive, but at the same time I also love being pregnant.”
Elsinga had just returned to radio after being absent for a month. She then indicated that she needed rest, because working for both television and radio had cost her too much energy.
In February 2020, Elsinga announced that she was together with her boyfriend Sander. The two now live together in Amsterdam.
