Marie-Laure, who still lives in the house where she once lived with Arno and their children, shared her personal story. She told about her grief, but also about how her youngest son had the farewell of his father the most difficult. “I have a jar of Arno’s ashes on the piano,” she said. “It’s a way to keep his memory close to me.”
The concert had an unmistakable emotional charge, especially since Ostend is always so closely linked to Arno. The city was his home, and for many he was the honorary citizen of Ostend. The fact that the band TC Arno had the honor to pay homage to this great artist made the concert extra special. “We want to bring TC Matic and Arno’s chemistry back to stage.”
