Mari Moilanen’s variation of the Christmas tart arouses admiration.

Food influencer Mari Moilanen laughs that every year you have to come up with a new flavor for Christmas tarts.

– This year’s taste is top ten, he says directly.

Moilanen’s Instagram followers also agree.

The cake recipe has been commented on, for example, like this:

– The ones I tried today were really heavenly good.

– Absolutely top idea. A wonderful change, going to try it.

White cheese Christmas tarts

(16 pieces)

500 g sheets of puff pastry

200 g of white cottage cheese

1 1/2 dl fig jam

1/2 dl chopped pecans

For lubrication:

1 egg

1. Thaw the sheets of puff pastry according to the instructions on the package.

2. Cut the dough sheets in half. Use a knife to make L-shaped cuts at the criss-cross corners about 1/2 inch from the edge. Fold the cut strips crosswise so that the dough forms a diamond-shaped pattern.

3. Place a spoonful of fig jam in the center of the tart, add a piece of brie cheese and sprinkle chopped pecans on top.

4. Brush the edges of the Christmas tarts with a beaten egg. Bake the Christmas tarts at 225 degrees for about 15 minutes. Serve the Christmas tarts warm.
