Marcolin and GCDS extend eyewear licensing partnership

The Italian eyewear manufacturer Marcolin SpA and the Milan-based fashion brand GCDS have prematurely extended their licensing partnership, which has existed since 2019, until December 31, 2028.

Marcolin will continue to design, produce and distribute GCDS’ eyewear collections as the exclusive licensing partner in the coming years, according to a statement published on Thursday.

The Marcolin Group, based in Longarone, northern Italy, is one of the world’s leading eyewear manufacturers. As a licensing partner, the company produces the eyewear lines of well-known fashion and shoe suppliers such as Tom Ford, Guess, Adidas, Max Mara, Zegna, MCM, Tod’s, Timberland and Skechers. Marcolin also offers eyewear under its own Web Eyewear brand and has an international sales network. Last November, the group also took over the German label Ic! Berlin.
