“The sailboat has always been my passion. Sport has always contaminated 90 percent of my creative work and it was great to return to drawing technical material. I come from the snowboard, for ten years with my study we have designed and designed tables for Fanatic”. The designer Marco Oggian thus tells his collaboration with North Sails, a pioneer brand of technical and sustainable clothing. “Now I live in Spain where I moved for a project linked to the world of surfing and skate, but my first sport was basketball: I played in Varese in the youth sector. There I learned the value of the team, everything comes from the comparison with my partner Samu and our team”. The capsule for North Sails “Born to Sail, Forced to dock” presents timeless essential garments, including the unmistakable Sailor Jacket. “It’s simple, therefore rather versatile, without losing its power.” His also the maxi installation in City Life: a giant sailboat, inflatable dedicated to the little ones: “At the design week there are no children and it seems madness to me”.
