Marco Borsato is forever damaged by the accusation of fornication with an underage girl. Even if he is acquitted, something will always hang around him. “Emigration.”

Marco Borsato undoubtedly regrets having become so involved with Nathalie T., the former chairman of his fan club. She was the head of a rather sexualized household, and her daughter A. now accuses the singer of fondling her legs when she was still a minor.

Stage pension

De Privé thinks Marco is done for. “He has not sung for six years and the chance that he will ever stand on a stage again seems nil, even if he is acquitted. What awaits him is his departure from the Netherlands. So the question remains: will it be Italy or the Antilles?”

What does the magazine base that on? “After the lawsuit, according to intimates of the singer, Marco will announce his ‘stage retirement’ and leave the country where he has been scarred by the fornication case for the rest of his life and where he has led an almost hidden existence since the outbreak of the abuse riot.”

Italy or Antilles

There are two possible emigration options for Marco, according to Privé. “Italy or the Antilles. If Marco chooses the Antilles, he can practice his biggest hobby of diving every day if he wants. Disadvantage: Bonaire and Curacao are popular holiday destinations among Dutch people. He will almost certainly not find peace on the islands.”

The magazine concludes: “The homeland of his ancestors, Italy, seems to be a better choice. If Marco leaves for Italy – he speaks the language fluently – there is a good chance that his son Senna will come with him. 24-year-old Senna, like his father, is crazy about motorcycles and Italy and doesn’t seem to be able to find his niche in the Netherlands.”
