Marco Borsato was ridiculed really hard in the ratings hit Even Tot Hier and that will really upset him. Or not? “He could also benefit from it,” it sounds.
The men of Even Tot Hier are back and this did not go unnoticed this weekend. They set tongues wagging with a number of spicy jokes about Marco Borsato, who was tried last week in the controversial fornication case against him. According to show expert Bart Ettekoven, the singer finds all those jokes really terrible.
Pity
Rob Goossens thinks that Marco could actually benefit from it. “I am of the school that you can joke about everything and in this case I also think: actually Marco Borsato has of course had a tough week because he has been in court, but also a good week,” he says at the desk of RTL Boulevard.
What do you mean? “Because I hear a lot of people feel a bit sorry for Marco. Then it actually helps Marco when such harsh jokes are made, because people might think: well, Marco is being treated very harshly.”
Compliments
One thing is certain: the guys from Even Tot Hier are back with one scaredsaid TV authority Tina Nijkamp. She writes in her Telegraph column: “The ‘bare breasts element’ in the lawsuit in particular was constantly recurring. A theme that is so on the edge that it could have gone off the rails at any moment. But that didn’t happen.”
It shows how well the men do their work, Tina concludes. “The episode flawlessly ‘exposed’ how the Netherlands followed the entire process, between sensationalism, surprise and disbelief. Exactly that discomfort.”
