Marc Terenzi: Penalty order for sexual harassment of a minor

The singer is therefore threatened with a fine totaling 1,000 euros.

Marc Terenzi has been under investigation since April 2023. The American musician is said to have not only touched the buttocks of his ex-partner’s 15-year-old daughter, but also described her as “sexy”. Since this incident was said to have been very unpleasant for the teenager, the mother filed a complaint against the 45-year-old. Now, on September 18, a criminal order was issued against Terenzi “for sexual harassment of a minor,” according to a spokesman for the responsible Borna district court.

The Leipzig public prosecutor’s office announced to RTL that the investigation into both the matter and an incident from summer 2018 had been completed. “As a result of the investigations conducted and based on the information gained, there was sufficient suspicion against the person you named for the incident, which is said to have occurred in July 2022,” the statement says. No further action will be taken in the 2018 case, “since the expected punishment would not be of any significant importance in addition to the penalty requested in the penalty order application,” said a spokesman.

After the public prosecutor’s office submitted an application for a penalty order to be issued, this has now been granted by the Borna district court. According to information from “Bild”, the fine would be a total of 1,000 euros per 20 daily rates. Neither Terenzi nor his lawyer have yet commented on the verdict. It is therefore still unclear whether they will take legal action against this.

In the spring, the singer, who was also kicked out of his band 5ünf at the beginning of the year, denied any allegations to the “Bild” newspaper. “It is very important to me to make it unmistakably clear that I clearly and decisively reject the allegations against me,” the defendant denied the crime. “I definitely haven’t done everything right in my life, quite the opposite. However, what I am being accused of here cannot be put into words. I will prove my innocence and hold the perpetrators of this slander accountable,” said the musician at the time.

Instead of dealing with the penalty order, Marc Terenzi seems to be on cloud nine. He and his fiancée Verena Kerth are currently in Las Vegas (October 20th). Media suspect that the couple is planning a wedding. Both Terenzi and Kerth posted two wedding rings in their Instagram story – they wrote: “Soon… Mr. & Mrs.” The TV and radio presenter received the application in front of the camera after she was thrown out of the jungle camp.
