The Staatsloterijshow returns to the air with Hélène Hendriks as the new figurehead, but shouldn’t they have asked former host Marc Klein Essink for that? “Contacted.”
It is one of the most famous TV shows that Marc Klein Essink has presented: the Staatsloterijshow. That program now returns to the air with Hélène Hendriks as the new figurehead. What does Marc think of her running off with his TV child? Was he approached by SBS 6 at all or did they skip him straight away?
Huge spectacle
Hélène realizes that this program really depends on Marc. “What I can remember about the Staatsloterij show… The show door opened and then he arrived with a suitcase with a barrel in it: Marc Klein Essink of course,” she says in Show news.
Anita Witzier also presented the show. She says: “It was a huge spectacle. It was live. That was of course very exciting, a huge added value. I am so happy that it is back. It can of course still be a spectacular, super fun show. Hélène has been entrusted with that.”
What does Marc think?
How does Marc view it? “Very nice that the Staatsloterij show is returning,” he says in writing. “I was in contact with the producer, because we share very good memories of it. We were also in contact about this new version, but I consciously said goodbye to TV more than 20 years ago, I now only do my own things.”
Hélène concludes: “I really enjoy being able to do this, especially because there are quite a few sporty parts in it. I’m not going to reveal too much yet, because you just have to watch.”
