Theo ten Caat needs almost no introduction. The former player of FC Groningen, FC Twente, Aberdeen, Hoogeveen and Hodo is nowadays as head coach for the fourth division team FC Klazienaveen. Once on behalf of FC Groningen accurately against Atletico Madrid, now he is trying to touch and protect the selection of FC Klazienaveen from relegation.
“It’s a tough job. If you look at our program it will be very difficult, but I am confident that we will still manage,” says Ten Caat in our club Podcast. “And if it doesn’t work then I will be a trainer in the fifth class next year. I never expected that, but that is also the beauty of life.”
In the fourth class F, Ten Caat took over the baton from Michel Kerkdijk. And so the selection players from the team from Southeast Drenthe were confronted with the Theo ten Caat train. It was boarding or lagging behind. “I have put one of our better players, Jaimy Hemme, back to the second because his behavior was not on me,” says the trainer who loves clarity and does not draw up any rules. “I just like normal behavior and I have to say that Jaimy has responded perfectly to that.”
