Manchester United grabs ex-Bundesliga professional

The Bundesliga season is just over. But the clubs are already planning for the coming season. All important news in the transfer ticker.
This year’s transfer summer has it all. This is because the clubs are allowed to sign players for the first time in two different periods. Due to the club World Cup, the first transfer window for the participating clubs opens on June 1st and then closes again on June 10th. The regular transfer window then extends from July 1st to September 1st.
It had indicated that now it is official: Ex-Bundesliga professional Matheus Cunha changes from the Wolverhampton Wanderers to Manchester United. The “Red Devils” officially announced this on Sunday.
The attacker played in the Bundesliga for RB Leipzig and Hertha BSC. It is said to be around 74 million euros. In Manchester, the 25-year-old should sign a contract by 2030-with an option for another year.
The 1. FC Köln is apparently about to bring the next top transfer for the coming season in the Bundesliga. After Ragnar Ache, who was hired by the 1,1th FC Kaiserslautern, ísak Jóhannesson is probably also drawing to the cathedral city. The “picture” reports.
Spicy: Jóhannesson is currently under contract with one of the biggest rivals of the “billy goats”, namely Fortuna Düsseldorf. In the 1-1 in the derby last February, the midfielder had equalized for his current club at the last minute, afterwards the coat of arms kissed on his jersey. Now he changes sides. A step that should be anything but well received by Fortuna fans.
According to the report, a clause is anchored in Jóhannesson’s contract, which still has to be drawn until 11:59 p.m. For 5.5 million euros, the Icelander can then join Cologne. The medical check should take place on Sunday. Düsseldorf is said to have been warned on Friday by the consultant of the key player (last season with eleven goals and six templates). Cologne is said to have registered a day later.
Borussia Dortmund would like to lure Jobe Bellingham, the brother of ex-BVB star Jude Bellingham, to the club. But according to Sky, BVB is still waiting for Jobe Bellingham’s promise – and therefore apparently has an alternative in its sights.
