Manuel Venderbos was definitively fired as presenter of Shownieuws, he himself indirectly confirms, but why? Only by some Tino Martin-dirt to throw on the street? “There is a code there.”
Insane but true: Manuel Venderbos has been blown out at Shownieuws because he has revealed that Studiogast Tino Martin was sent home in the advertising block. The singer seemed to be drunk on the desk, but another lecture is that he is just bad in media performances. Manuel thinks the latter himself, he said.
Dismissed
Manuel is now definitely out of the show section, says medianer Victor Vlam. “Indeed, he will not return to Shownieuws anymore. You could say he was fired. Technically, he was a freelancer, so yes, they just won’t bet him anymore. But anyway, it comes down to the same thing. He will no longer be seen as a presenter.”

Serious punishment
It is a very hefty punishment, says Victor. “I understand that Manuel and Shownieuws had actually been growing apart for a while and that that is also a little the real story behind this. They didn’t think he fits the program very well at Shownieuws and the tino-Martin avalizers were actually the straw.”
Manuel’s statements were not shocking, but at most a bit awkward, says DetV critic. “If I have to explain it: I know that at Shownieuws there is heavily lifting things like this, because there is a code that actually forbids that you will discuss things behind the scenes.”

That code is silencing the Shownieuws stars, says Victor. “Of course, it does not apply to VI, because everything that happens behind the scenes there is also discussed in front of the screens. But with Shownieuws it is different. That code has long been there and that has to do with the fact that there is almost always a chief editor of a gossip sheet at the table.”
He is referring to private boss Evert Santegoeds and Story boss Guido den attracter. “The other experts want to be sure that if they have personal conversations behind the scenes, they will not, for example, end up in private or in the Story, so that is why those agreements were made and that is why that rule is used there.”
Violated
That rule was therefore violated by Manuel, says Victor. “So that is what they are probably angry about. But again, if you look at what he said … I didn’t think that was very shocking. I think it’s really a very heavy punishment.”
“But the whole story here is: they had been growing apart for a while, so this was more or less the drop. Anyway, at least he doesn’t come back to Shownieuws.”
