It is the second indoor title for the men in the history of Mannheimer HC. The southern second won the final against Berlin on Sunday (January 30th, 2022) in Düsseldorf with a clear 9: 3 (5: 2).
Mannheim quickly and clearly in the lead
Justus Weigand twice each (2nd/11th minute) and Raphael Hartkopf (3rd/19th) as well as Paul Zmyslony (6th) ensured a 5-0 lead before Berlin with six field players without a goalkeeper by Tim Strüven ( 22nd) and Jonas Gomoll (25th) shortened.
