Manly wins just ahead of Bauernfeind, Radsport – MDR – Regional

Marta Lach from Poland took third place. Manly celebrated her third stage win despite falling during Friday’s race. Only the second stage went to another driver – but she also secured an Australian with Georgia Baker.

Two more races are scheduled for the weekend. Saturday is the longest part of the day around Gotha, with two climbs and two sprints. The 104.3 kilometer race around Altenburg marks the end of the tour on Sunday.

Bicycle theft overshadows stage

Before the start of the stage there was a nasty surprise for the Belgian team Lotto Soudal Ladies. Five high-quality racing bikes were stolen on Friday night. The Ridley bikes were in a mobile home that was broken into in a hotel car park in Weimar. The damage amounts to around 45,000 euros.
