A wish tree was placed on the site by medicine for the people, where visitors could hang groceries for Palestinians. “That support does them very well,” says chairman Tim Joye. “Palestinian doctors are enormously driven and remain on the side of their people. It helps they see that people are solidarity in the world.”
Manifiesta, an initiative of the PvdA, attracted thousands of visitors despite rainy weather. In addition to the focus on Gaza, other themes were also discussed, such as pensions, militarization, energy, climate and women’s rights.
