Mango wants to open 20 new stores in Canada

Spanish fashion retailer Mango plans to open 20 stores in Canada over the next ten years, the company said in a statement. The first six stores in Toronto are scheduled to open by the end of 2023.

The plans are part of a new partnership with Israeli retail group Fox Group. The group is also Mango’s partner in Israel, where it operates about 47 of the fashion group’s stores.

Mango’s expansion plan in Canada is part of the company’s effort to grow in North America. In this context, last May the company began its expansion in the United States with the opening of a new flagship store on Fifth Avenue in New York.

Incidentally, Mango is already active in Canada. For example, department store chain Hudson Bay’s has around fifty branded outlets in Canada. Mango is also active in the region with its online shop.
