Mandatory Dutch tutoring for students who do not pass the standard: the class council decision cannot be challenged by parents

Sixth-year students who do not achieve the minimum goals for Dutch may be required by the class council to take Dutch extra lessons in secondary school from next school year. Flemish Minister of Education Zuhal Demir (N-VA) introduced this measure. That’s what ‘Het Nieuwsblad’ writes on Thursday.
